From Hobby to Business
What a journey!!!!!!
We moved from Vryheid KZN to Pietermaritzburg end of October 2017. Then started making all kinds of household items for fun. Spice racks, coffee tables etc. Soon we were hooked and made more and more. With Douw doing all the hard-work and me and Elize the painting, we discovered a whole new world of creativity. We decided to share our hidden talents with the public and went to a couple of markets. The dream got bigger and the ideas even more. Every night something new came up. We got all the kids involved and fun quality family time is spend.
We soon realized that we need more, so the idea of opening a shop became extremely attractive. Everything just fell in place when we found the perfect spot. Within 2 weeks we opened our doors. We are blessed to see so many faces and meet so many new people and we know that you enjoy what you see.
We also make on request, so if you want something special and unique, SPLINTERS is the place to be.
