Introducing Horizon by Ongava , where ancient landscapes ,endless horizons and the spirit of Namibia come together.

Winter sunshine, a good coffee, and a favourite spot is sometimes all that you need ☀️

In winter, we naturally gravitate towards the warmest corners of our homes , those little spots where the morning sun streams in, perfect for breakfast, a quiet moment, or that first coffee of the day.

These are the spaces that remind us how powerful natural light can be, bringing warmth, comfort, and a sense of calm to the start of every day.

The concept of colour fascinates me.

To me, colour is deeply physiological. We are all drawn to different hues and tones, often for reasons we cannot quite explain.

I have always preferred dirtier, more muted shades, while others are naturally drawn to crisper, cleaner colours.
Regardless of whether you favour aged, earthy tones or fresh, vibrant hues, colour has a profound effect on how we perceive an image or interior.

Take these simple baskets, for example. I styled them with some beautifully aged daisies that have a faded, painterly quality reminiscent of Claude Monet, which I love. As they age, they move through varying shades of yellow, each one adding a different character and depth.
It’s remarkable how colour alone can completely change the way you see these baskets.
