What happens to an infertile ostrich egg?

At Leo & Stripes, very little goes to waste.

The eggshells we use are natural by-products of South Africa’s ostrich industry. We carefully clean and repurpose them into décor, while the contents are upcycled into dog food.

Then local hands take over.

It is a small circular story, but one we care deeply about: using what already exists, respecting the material and creating pieces made to last.
