Nestled within the coastal dune forest overlooking the Bay of Maputo, this villa is designed to sit lightly within its natural surroundings. Elevated above the landscape and connected by timber walkways, the home allows the vegetation to flow uninterrupted beneath and around it.

A series of timber-clad terraces with deep overhangs and screened elements create a permeable, climate-responsive design, enhancing natural light, ventilation, and the indoor-outdoor connection. Living spaces open onto expansive decks and a pool terrace oriented toward panoramic bay views.

A recently completed dwelling inspired by an industrial farm aesthetic, combining natural stone, steel cladding, and timber detailing. Perched in the scenic Lebombo Mountains on the Mozambican side, this luxury tented camp blends history with modern design. The original ruins were transformed into the main mess area, while the old slabs left behind were reimagined with suspended decks and permanent tents. Interiors by Andrea Kirkinis of Sauvage Design capture the spirit of a Transient Camp — timeless, grounded, and beautifully refined.
