The cabinetry on this renovation needed to work hard for this young busy family. And it was also an opportunity to create personality for this home. Alongside all the textures, colour and details, we also went with the best quality, ensuring these fittings will last a lifetime.

Pink and blue follow through from the en-suite. This bedroom is both calming and fun. The four-poster bed is always perfect for a princess, and the rug and curtains add some timeless grown-up neutral textures for the years to come.

Pink and blue will never do they said.
Personally I love this colour combination. It also didn’t take much convincing either, but then again these clients were the best ever renovation partners. Bring it on they said, to everything really!
This is the en-suite for their young daughter. We pulled together pale pink stripes with solid deep sky blue, and a touch of spice in the details.

Of course we had to use colour in the scullery of House D. This renovation was all about adding colour to lighten the mood and create a relaxed and playful ambience: the perfect space for a young family.
This soft green, paired with dark green handles (by ) became the perfect backdrop to the kitchen - viewed through an archway.
I have mentioned the design hack with the flooring during this renovation. It’s on the blog - link in bio.

My recipe for a good kitchen design is LESS.
Less elaborate detailing on the shelving and cabinetry, minimal number of materials, and a touch of texture with clean, simple lines means that the kitchen can hold all the clutter that is family life.
The kitchen is often a transition zone, and a dumping ground for a family. Keeping the built-in elements as simple as possible ensures the kitchen finishes don’t add to the clutter.

Not much is needed for a guest room. Cosiness and texture add a welcome element; somewhere for your guest to store their luggage and hang some items.
We installed a curtain to this wardrobe so any clutter can be hidden, with the soft sheers adding to the calm vibe. We added a mirror for dressing and the low drawer unit creates a bench for bags.
We opened up the wall opposite with glass sliders for guests to enjoy the garden.
The neutral palette stays interesting with all the textures.

Oftentimes the guest bedroom needs to double up as a study or desk space.
We opened up the wall at the foot of the bed and installed a french door leading out to the garden. This created a light filled room, and a zone specifically for guests to enjoy. The cabinetry frames the bed and incorporates the desk creating a seamless transition between the two zones.
There is a nook at the bedside incorporated into the cabinetry for a bedside table. The plug and light switch are included here for easy access.

The veranda, which we enclosed with sliding balau screens to create an additional living space was the perfect spot to add a bar.
The materials are both practical and beautiful - concrete and paving perfect for the outdoor feel.

We designed a new bar for this renovation that took into account the indoor-outdoor lifestyle of this estate home.
The new veranda, which is more like an additional living space with the permanent balau screens, was the perfect spot to add a bar. The materials needed to work with the outdoor feel. Concrete for the bar was the perfect solution. The pavers on the floor also enhance the outdoor feel. The design of the bar incorporates a fridge and storage for bottles and glasses.
