Granny games on a holiday: using my makeup💄; costume jewelry ;scarves & costume wraps many fun hours were spent “dressing up” ;play-acting & doing these “photo shoots” with my little granddaughter…….simple creative play creating memories lasting even now 13 years later,& into the future!

After breakfast, we took a leisurely stroll around the diplomatic area of Delhi, exploring the nearby parks where locals were engaged in their daily activities - men and children playing cricket, girls playing shuttlecock, families picnicking, and women gathering firewood. The pollution in Delhi is alarming, and masks are a must. I captured a photo standing next to a plant covered in dust, highlighting the need for rain to cleanse the environment.

They were in warm scarves 🧣 & coats at 8 degrees ….s weather disparity from equatorial Goa !But they took us outside ,in the cold where we sat at fires 🔥 for 5 minutes before coming inside to warm aircon !

A whole day’s travel began at 5.30am to get the airport ,then fly from Kochin to Mumbai .
3 hours in transit at the Mumbai airport before connecting to Goa & finally transferring from the airport to our magnificent Taj hotel in Goa……

New venue “Club Como”for an unexpected lunch treat :perfection 👌All 3 main meals were exceptional:-
Delicious food exquisitely presented in a classy venue defined by its attention to detail!
The grand finale was the best ever icecream kisses containing scrumptious fillings(pistachio;orange brandy & coffee) in 3 different chocolates…milk ,dark & white)in moulds echoing the “shell emblem”.
Even the chair backs stitched & shaped as conches!
Finally : even the bill was presented in a customized shell.
