viewer discretion advised: this reel contains scenes of extreme handmade detail and talent.

the wild dog platters take ages to sculpt, paint and glaze and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

these raised bowls take real time to make, and that’s the whole point.

🐾 the bowl and base are each made separately and meticulously fitted together
🐾 the animals take time to sculpt - especially the pangolin
🐾 and then there is the hand painting
🐾 only a few can fit in the kiln per firing

these beautiful pieces are really something to behold. they take skill, patience, care and heaps on time to make.

our raised bowls!

this is what you helped build 👏

a pangolin box

it's what rescue and law enforcement teams use to move a pangolin safely once it's been recovered - dark, quiet, lined with a blanket, so a very stressed animal has somewhere soft to land

your support funded one of these, built for teams working on the ground with the African Pangolin Working Group

👏 not a donation that disappears into a spreadsheet
👏 a box, a blanket, and a pangolin that gets to go home

every pangolin piece that leaves our studio sends something back to them.

not often do you get to soak in the stillness of an african wild dog.

usually they’re a whirlwind of energy, always on the move, always with the pack.

it’s these rare, quiet moments that make you appreciate them even more

some things are uniquely african
🐾 a bush sunset is one of them
🐾 our ceramics are another

with bush holidays just around the corner, we're feeling the call of the wild too 🌅
