Jax Oleum Single Coat Oil-Based Wood Stain. Protects, nourishes and colors wood in one easy application. We love wood! Jax Oleum is incredibly effective and highly durable.

That is why we’ve committed years of research into a new product that we’re particularly proud to launch – Jax Oleum. Whether it’s kept in its natural state or treated with colour, all wood needs to be nourished and protected. Just 1 litre covers about 50m², and takes only one coat to colour and protect your wood against water, heat and sunlight. It is simple to apply – You just need to sand down

and clean your natural wood and then apply the oil using a cloth. After a few minutes the oil will have pe*****ted into the upper layers of the wood and then you simply wipe away the excess. It can be used inside & outside for gum poles, window frames, flooring, doors and furniture etc. You can also use it on all veneers. In one application you can change the colour of any absorbent natural wood product to a colour that will enhance the grain and transform the look. We have over 30 colours to choose from or you can mix existing colours to create your own. We can also match and make up other colours on request, with a minimum order quantity. Treat your wood and increase its lifespan by applying our maintenance oil when needed. Jax Oleum is proudly manufactured in South Africa using natural, eco-friendly material.

One of the questions we hear most: “Can I use Jax Oleum on my wood?”

If it’s raw, natural, uncoated timber… the answer is usually YES.

Perfect for:
✔ Wooden floors
✔ Furniture
✔ Doors & window frames
✔ Cladding

✔ Pine, oak, meranti & saligna

The key? The wood must be free from old varnish, paint, or sealers so the oil can pe*****te properly.

This beachfront apartment entrance door had to be timber, as per body corporate requirements - much to our client's frustration. They were done with the usual timber problems: swelling, sticking, and weather-related movement.

The solution: a beautiful Accoya timber door that won't misbehave - at least for the next 50 years - expertly crafted by Coenie Marais and finished with Jax Oleum single-coat stain and sealant.
