Smileyblue Creations came about with my making personalized greeting cards for family and friends, who were wanting something different to what was available in the stores. I spent many hours with a group of ladies stamping, embossing cards and generally having fun participating in a group craft workshop and a cup of tea. I continued doing this craft at home and produced many beautiful cards for f
amily and friends. While perusing the net I found the International Pergamano site and was overjoyed as in my search for books I had only reached a dead end. Pergamano was a Dutch trademark very closely guarded as you can only purchase the books directly from Pergamano International or the local agent - Perga Kuns SA, Krugersdorp. Ilse is a very pleasant lady who has tried to help even though many miles separate us. I later met Judith Hodges another wonderful lady who though living in George comes thru to PE and gives us classes in the graceful art of Pergamano. I have leant a great deal from Judith and for this I wish to thank her very much and I am sure that as time goes by I might have the good luck to produce some work as beautiful as hers. I have started a small craft workshop at home - Crab Creek Crafters - where ladies & gentlemen can come and join me in doing either parchment craft, glass painting or rubber stamping. A phone call to ensure that I am not acting as 'Mom's Taxi' is all that is needed to make sure that a pleasant, crafting morning can be enjoyed in the serene setting alongside the tranquil Swartkops River.
