Two mothers, one birthday, and a naked cake dressed up for the occasion! 😂🎂 The twins 76th Birthday Cake 🎂😍

A beautiful day filled with family, old friends, good food and lots of love. I made far more than just the cake, but between cooking and entertaining, the camera was clearly not on the guest list! 🤣❤️

🎨 THE FINAL DAY OF HOLIDAY CLUB… AND WE SAVED THE SELF-PORTRAITS FOR Last! 😅

Our last Creative Kids Holiday Art Club was a small one — just a few little artists — but sometimes the smallest classes make the biggest memories. ❤️

And then I casually announced… “Today we’re painting ourselves.”

The looks I got. 😂
Apparently, painting a dinosaur is one thing, but painting your own face?...... Absolutely terrifying!

So I had a little trick up my sleeve.

A couple of days earlier, I’d taken a photograph of each child and printed it in black and white. Using carbon paper, we traced the main lines onto watercolour paper, giving them a little roadmap to work from.

And before anyone thinks I’ve discovered a magical “paint like a professional in five minutes” button… I haven’t. 😉 The painting was still ALL theirs. The tracing simply gave them the confidence to understand where those important facial lines go.

And WOW… they did SO well! 🥰

You can recognise every single one of them — which is pretty impressive when one of our artists was only six years old!

And that little six-year-old absolutely stole my creative heart. ❤️ There are some children where you can just see it — that natural artistic instinct, the way they see shapes, colour and detail. He definitely has that gift.

The girls were amazing too, and I was so proud watching all of them realise,“Hey… I CAN actually do this!”

And honestly, that’s my favourite part of teaching art. It’s not just about making a pretty painting. It’s about building confidence, learning to look, learning to trust yourself — and discovering that something that seemed scary can actually be broken down into little steps.

Sometimes you just need a little carbon paper to convince your brain that you’re an artist. 😂

Small class. Big creativity. Very proud art teacher. ❤️🎨

🌧️ A rainy spring day + a room full of paint = a VERY creative day! 🎨

Today at the Spring Holiday Art Club, the kids got to choose their own creative adventure — dinosaurs, Hello Kitty, bunnies, stars, Christmas trees, painted backgrounds… basically, if it could be painted, it was fair game! 😂

And judging by the state of the studio, we definitely had fun! 🤩🤩

Paint everywhere, brushes everywhere, creativity everywhere. And honestly? A messy studio is usually a very good sign.❤️

It was cold and rainy outside, but inside we kept warm with creativity, colour and a whole lot of happy little artists.

I’m so proud of what they created today. 🎨✨

Corporate catering… but make it beautiful ☕✨

For a recent clients corporate training event, we made 40 fresh, delicious, cappuccino-flavoured muffins, individually presented with a corporate logo tag.

Professional. Polished. Personal. And, importantly… actually delicious.

At The Artistry, we love taking the little details and turning them into something that looks like it belongs on the boardroom table — whether it’s corporate catering, individually packaged treats, branded food gifts, conference snacks, training-day catering, event platters or something completely custom.

You give us the occasion, the branding and the brief…
we’ll make it edible. And make it look good while we’re at it.😉

Not masterpieces… MONSTER PIECES! 👀🎨🖌️ 🤩

Today the Holiday Art Club kids took their worries, frustrations and “monsters” and gave them a good artistic squish — then turned them into something colourful, funny and downright cute! 😂🤩

Because with kids, art isn’t just about making pretty pictures. Sometimes it’s about taking what feels BIG… and making it a little less scary.

And honestly… these monsters are ADORABLE. 💥👀
