Every year, Earth Day is celebrated on 22 April.

This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet”, resonates with us at Ener-G-Africa.

We believe that climate progress will not come from a single policy or organisation, but from practical action taken consistently by people, wherever they are.

We are all about creating planet-positive solutions designed and built in Africa for the people who live here - solutions that support families, homes, businesses, communities and future generations.
For example, from our solar panel manufacturing facility in Paarl, we are contributing to a more localised, responsive energy ecosystem - one where availability, quality and support are shaped by people on the ground. Across both solar and clean cooking solutions, we are focusing not only on sustainability, but also on resilience.

We are (quite literally) helping to put cleaner energy solutions into the hands of the people who need them most.

Earth Day is a reminder that meaningful change starts with practical action, wherever we are.

A step toward an improved life!

At the Chongwe Show Grounds, we handed over a FAB stove to Mr. Conrad Chipuya - a farmer and father of three who previously purchased our 20W solar panel kit. After seeing the difference clean energy made in his home, he returned to add the stove to his household.

Every stove means reduced fuel costs, fast and safe cooking, less smoke, and more time for families to focus on what matters most. We look forward to seeing how clean cooking continues to support Conrad’s family and livelihood.

A powerful weekend for clean cooking in Zambia! 🇿🇲

Our FAB stove activations drew incredible interest as communities experienced firsthand what makes the FAB stove a game‑changer - fast heating, fuel efficiency, durability, and cleaner cooking for every household. The response was amazing, with enthusiastic feedback from customers across all our activation points.

As Zambia celebrates International Women’s Day today, we’re proud to see how the FAB stove is supporting women with safer, more efficient cooking solutions - highlighted during the vibrant celebrations in Chongwe over the weekend.
