Some moments would go completely unnoticed. makes them impossible to overlook. Two seagulls, an endless blue sky and a composition stripped back to almost nothing. Proof that an image doesn’t need to be loud to hold your attention.

We love this piece for exactly that reason. Its clean lines and deep blue bring a sense of calm and openness into a room, while the unexpected composition keeps it from ever feeling predictable. Minimal, but with character. Quiet, but definitely not boring.

Ｌａｕｒｉｅ finds beauty in the city’s contrasts: in sharp architectural lines, quiet shadows, fleeting silhouettes and streets illuminated long after dark.

His predominantly monochromatic work feels precise and timeless, while his nocturnal colour photography reveals a more surreal side of Tokyo: cinematic, electric and almost otherworldly.
