Gather ’round… Helen’s heard things scarier than “we’re over budget.” 🔦👻

Welcome to renovation horror stories, House of Stone Countertops & Design edition.

It starts with a sample in your hand. You look at the colour, the movement in the stone, and how it might feel alongside everything else in the room.

Then one day, it’s in your home. The decisions you spent so much time thinking through feel like they’ve always belonged there.

That’s what quiet luxury means to us at House of Stone Countertops & Design: a space that feels considered, comfortable, and entirely yours. Nothing has to shout for you to know you chose well.

Loved working on this bathroom with our friends at Command Contracting! Stunning transformation and high end Quartz countertop for the gorgeous vanity 💕

Some kitchen lessons come from working in the industry. Others come from living with your own choices. 😂

Helen’s learned plenty from both... and she has a few firm “never agains.”

Do you have something in your kitchen you wouldn’t choose a second time? Tell us below! 👇

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours. 🤎

At House of Stone Countertops & Design, we’re grateful for the people who make this business what it is... our team, our community, and every family who has welcomed our work into their home.

Being a small part of the spaces where you gather, share meals, and make memories means so much to us.

Wishing you a weekend filled with good food, familiar faces, and a little extra time around the table. 🍂

We’ll always support your choices… but when you pick the one we recommended, we can’t promise to keep our excitement to ourselves. 🤭🙌

You bring the ideas and questions. We’ll help you work through the details. 🤝

Choosing countertops comes with plenty of decisions, but you don’t need to have all the answers before we sit down together.

At House of Stone Countertops & Design, we start by getting to know your space, how you use it and what you’re hoping to achieve. From reviewing plans to comparing samples, we’ll talk through your options together so you feel confident taking the next step.

Every project starts with a conversation. Let us make it an easy one.

Let’s talk kitchens. 💬

After well over 20 years in the industry, we’ve seen a lot... and picked up a thing or two along the way. Our knowledge goes far beyond countertops, and we’d love to share more of it with you.

We’re kicking things off with Helen: what are some effective ways to elevate a kitchen?

From practical advice to honest opinions, there’s plenty more to come. Stick around, and let’s talk kitchens. 🏡
