Bird prompt - Victoria Crowned Pigeon

I fell off the wagon! Well, it was my anniversary and if you got the high focus kind of brain like mine, it's very easy to hyperfocus on other things and the new theme became deep cleaning and completely reorganizing my studio.

Anyway, believe it or not - I was almost attacked by one of these. They're sooo pretty though!

Design available for tattooing. I made a light and darker skin example, I think I would have to swap out some of the colors for even darker skin

This project is taking longer than expected at no fault to anyone. Sometimes you get a tattoo and discover something along the way, like possibly a change in your body. This is still missing browns, a yellow green and then white (and any touch ups).

I won't be a Dr Nick and try to diagnose, but as a tattoo artist it means I have to have the skills and patience to change my approach. In this case, I have to run my machine very low and slow, among other things.

A bad tattooer won't either know or care, and will drill colors into you... And then the colors might just fall out completely or worse - scar. I've seen enough photos like that on FB of panicking clients regretting who they chose.

I've worked with many different skin types and skin conditions at this point and I appreciate learning something new yet again.

The Polish fairytale illustrations came through in this one.

Hope the guy still likes it. The story is his friend picked an idea for him and it's a Bachelor gift.

Birdtober prompt 🖤 Rook
A rook is a type of corvid with a mostly exposed beak, unlike crows and ravens. They dig for small animals, insects and eat grain - usually a pest on farmland.
It was interesting to learn what makes them different. I would have assumed the beak was for carrion.

I think this is a really cool side body or side thigh piece, maybe shoulder blade too

Watch me rethink this design 🐤 Birdtober prompt: Bee Hummingbird

I like to draw late at night and sometimes my brain can't think anymore. It becomes more obvious what the issue with a design is the next day.

I had a lot of fun with this one abandoning working within a style or not having to please a client. Hopefully one of you likes it enough to get it!

I'm really not sure what body area I'd put this so let me know that you think.
