Sam’s career began at Bonhams in the 90s, developing a sharp eye for quality and provenance, before moving into interior design and running her own business. Every piece at Grey Starling Antiques tells a story; Sam and Dan source treasures from around the world, guided by a genuine appreciation for quality, history, and craftsmanship. Whether they’re uncovering a hidden gem at an overseas market or on the road in search of something truly remarkable, every trip is an adventure — and they love nothing more than sharing their latest discoveries with their growing community of customers. This depth of knowledge, combined with a lifelong love of collecting and travelling, made turning their passion into their life’s work a natural next step.
