Knot & Bloom Floral design & macramé

26/10/2026

This has been a long time in the making! Drum roll please…. And sorry for the long post!

I’m really excited, and equally as scared, to let you know that in November, I’m officially relaunching Knot & Bloom as a florist and macramé business.

So I don’t get completely overwhelmed, I’m starting small by offering seasonal bouquets, which will change weekly, and I will be using local community groups and Insta to reach customers. There’s a lack of florists in my local area so I’m hoping I can fill that gap and bring some flowery joy to you all.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have also spotted a loyalty card in the reel. Super simple - you get a stamp for every purchase and once you’ve filled your card you get a free bouquet! Local delivery will also be available. More info will follow, but any questions, please fire away. I’m still working on the finer details myself!

Finally, I have to give a huge shout out and thanks to for refreshing my brand. I absolutely love the direction we’ve gone in - keeping its core essence but allowing it to grow up a little bit. Couldn’t recommend Saz enough if anyone needs any brand work doing so check out her insta and give her a follow.

I also want to give a shout out to .flowers who has helped me so much over the past year - both in terms of technical and commercial skills, but also in terms of confidence. You believed in me when I didn’t really believe in myself and I will be forever grateful to you.

Final thanks to for taking care of the bills and supporting me whilst I re-invent myself.

Reflexed Leucadendron and Calla still on point after over a week in a vase. Proof that if you look after your blooms by changing the water and trimming the stems (always at 45 degrees), you get to enjoy them for much longer.

I feel like this would be a great colour palette and pattern for a bold, maximalist wallpaper. What do you think?

Autumnal vibes in abundance… this is a little dried number in a vase I created yesterday for Ivy Florist Leeds The King Protea takes centre stage and rightfully so. I don’t usually work with dried (not my fave thing to do if I’m honest!) but channeled my inner .flowers and set to work. Think it’s turned out rather well and it’s now for sale at Ivy so you can buy it if it’s your vibe!

This gorgeous bunch of British grown, organic blooms deserves a space on the K&B grid. Chosen and picked by hand Sammie’s Flowers @ KQ Farm and arranged at home. She looks like she could be a Victorian painting!

Such a lovely way to spend a morning. If you get chance, give Sammie a follow and book in to one of her pick your own sessions. You won’t regret it. I know I’ll be back, and it’s definitely got me thinking about growing cut flowers…

Gorgeous day yesterday at Sammie’s Flowers. It was our last week of college so we went on a wee trip to this lush flower farm. Sammie grows all sorts of stunning blooms, so we went, we picked and then…it was too hot to make anything (the poor flowers were literally wilting before our eyes), so we all went home to make a bouquet.

A lovely way to wrap up our first year of Level 2., and I adore my bouquet, which is now in a vase in my living room. I now also want to be a flower farmer. With horses of course. And maybe a donkey or two. you in? 🌸🩷

Flowers never fail to bring joy, and this is such a beautiful bouquet. Maybe you’re not meant to love things you make this much but I fell for this purple stunner hook, line and sinker. After feeling really crappy for a few days (hormones raging!) these have lifted me up. Thanks, as always, to and .flowers. Really couldn’t have found a better place to learn. 💜💚

This week’s brief from was to design a wearable piece for a celebrity to wear to attend an awards ceremony. We were asked to create a mood board, create the design and then make it.

Of course I chose the legend that is , creating a corsage in shades of purple to complement her beautiful, fiery hair and adding a pop of yellow for contrast. I tried to use some different types of flower and foliage to echo her unique and individual personality.

Pretty pleased with how it turned out but also some learnings to take forward. Which is the whole idea of learning and practicing! Half term next week, which means a break from wiring, which is much needed after an intense few weeks!

More wiring this week . This time we upped the ante with corsages and wiring Freesia which is pretty fiddly, particularly for this fat fingered, clumsy lady!

I’ve concentrated that hard that my brain and eyes are both exhausted, but I was pretty pleased with how my first corsage turned out. I do find wiring quite therapeutic but I’d had enough by the end of the day.

Two corsages down though and more to come next week as I will be designing a corsage for a celebrity of my choice. Any ideas to throw into the mix??? I already have a strong one but be fun to see what you all think!

These beauties are leftover stock from a pop-up and available to buy now for £22 each. Fabulous as a gift for the plant lover in your life, or as a treat for yourself. I know houseplants bring me lots of joy and they’re also good for your health as they release oxygen into the air. Now is the time that plants start to grow so they can make a beautiful, impactful and natural addition to your home.

They’re plant hangers that hang on a wall so are super easy to put up, you just need a nail and a hammer. No tricky hooks to manage. Lots of gorgeous pastel and boho colours to choose from. Each one holds a 15-17cm plant pot.

Free collection or delivery within a 3-mile radius. I can also post out for an additional P&P charge. Only one of each colour in stock!
