Progress on chairs in last couple of weeks - Parker knowle armchair is looking great, as is the kids armchair. I’ve been sanding down the mid century chair when I get a chance too

Progress from the last few weeks, everyone is doing fantastic on their projects, whether a Parker knoll armchair, Victorian nursing chair, or modern child’s chair or a stool, well done everyone, they look amazing!

Workshops from the last couple of weeks. Lots of different projects from Sewing cushions, deep buttoning armchairs, stools and midcentury chairs. Everyone’s been working really hard and it’s really paid off. They’ve done an amazing job. It’s always good to see lots of happy faces and beautifully finished chairs. 🪑 ❤️

Recent workshops with everyone working super hard on their stools or chairs, Andrea and Sharon finished their stools which look stunning, whilst Carys worked hard at adding springs back into her arm chair and Cerith was busy on the sewing machine making the cover for his chair. They all look amazing well done ❤️ 🪑 🔨

Busy workshop this morning, everyone making great progress with their chairs and stools. Glen almost finished stripping back his pair of stools, Cerith added hessian with a blanket stitch and Bridie finished recovering her chair in a beautiful dusky pink fabric, they all look fab, well done everyone ❤️

My lovely regulars on our morning workshops every Friday and Saturday 10am-12:30pm, making great progress on their beautiful stools and chairs over a friendly cuppa. They’ve been working so hard stripping them back fully, and reupholstering them with natural sustainable materials. They’ve been adding webbing, hessian, coir ( coconut fibre alternative to horse hair) and wool felt or needled felt and calico, so they’ll be ready for their top fabric soon, can’t wait! Well done guys x

Workshops today and last week, everyone working hard and doing a great job. Today, Perry did a fab job on finishing reupholstering his chair which is finished and back at and Laura did great stripping back her drop in seat and rewebbing it, whilst Glen was great working non stop stripping back the paint on his two retro stools, whilst Cerith did a fab job stripping back his retro spring chair last week. Well done everyone ❤️
