Could you lend a hand? 🍅

Adur & Worthing Food Partnership is looking for volunteers for two community projects:

From Scratch – our free cookery classes, helping people learn to make healthy, affordable meals. We need help setting up tables and equipment, supporting participants, washing up and clearing away.

The Community Table – our free monthly community meal. We’d welcome help setting up, serving food, welcoming guests and tidying up afterwards.

Whether you enjoy helping in the kitchen or making people feel welcome, we’d love to hear from you. You can volunteer for either project or both.

📍 The Community Hub, Beach House Park, Worthing
We’re in the pavilion building beside the bowling greens, next to Palm Court Pavilion café at the northern end of the park, near Lyndhurst Road. There’s a public car park beside the pavilion building.

Great food and lovely company at The Community Table 💚

We had a wonderful afternoon on Monday 12th October at the Community Hub in Beach House Park, with lots of people coming together to share a delicious meal.

We enjoyed vegan gnocchi bolognese followed by vegan chocolate fudge cake, plus biscuits and chocolate kindly provided by the Co-op — thank you!

A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers, who worked so hard to make the afternoon a success, and to everyone who joined us. It was lovely to see you all.
