This morning I am going to see a client to discuss a bedroom makeoveršŸ˜Š
Iā€™ve worked for this lovely lady before including transforming one of the bedrooms into a nursery for her grandchild.
Was such a lovely project and was really nice to design a nursery as I never had chance to when Bailey was born as I lived in a rental and couldnā€™t afford it!

This was a kitchen renovation in a house we bought to rent and then eventually sold.

Used the existing kitchen by painting the doors, adding new handles, shelves and worktop. Adding a mural took it from boring to interesting!

Lots of fun and enjoyment when sourcing stock, not so much fun when having to list it all on the website.

In regards to everyone asking where the store is on my last post. Itā€™s a number of stores which are trade only.

I have always spent lots of time when sourcing to find suppliers. When I used to have the online store and shop, I used to get loads of people asking where I source things from.

Being a small business is tough and thereā€™s always competition so I think itā€™s only right that we are not expected to share sources.

The worst one I ever got was when I had the pottery shop. I had a lady arrange a meeting as she had a business proposition.

It turns out that she wanted to set up the same business 10 minutes away and wanted to know where I got everything fromšŸ˜³

I think I just sat there open mouthedšŸ˜‚

So, yes, while Iā€™m happy to share details of lots of places I visit on here, please respect it when I donā€™tšŸ˜Š

Just been to the first wholesalers and managed to get a couple of Indian Chakki tables like the one pictured here.

They are metal as opposed to just wood so perfect for using outside too.

Iā€™ve tracked down a garden centre for lunch and then off to the next wholesalers.

This was another of my favourites - a little bar in my friendā€™s house! Again, we were pretty much left to our own devices when doing the design which is how I work best!

Love designing and completing different spaces. I think itā€™s when Iā€™m most creative.
