The Dining Room Tour!

Still at home but, fingers crossed, we think the motorhome is now fixedšŸ¤ž

Silver lining is that I got to see my son before we go as heā€™s just come back from a lads holiday in Greece.

Just about to go out for a meal with my son and husband and maybe a glass of wine šŸ˜‰

Normal interiors will resume tomorrow - Iā€™ve got a tour of our dining room coming up for you allā¤ļø

Well, that year went by in a flash! Itā€™s been a bit of a hard year tbh. Hormones all over the place, confidence at an all time low and feeling very lost a lot of the time.

I thought being in your 50s meant that you gave less of a s**t about things - turns out itā€™s been quite the opposite!šŸ™ˆ

Iā€™m determined to start being more positive about things as I donā€™t want to waste a second of this wonderful life Iā€™ve been given šŸ˜Šā¤ļø

Spent a lovely couple of hours in Eyam - not been for ages. Beautiful cottages and delicious coffee and cakeā¤ļø

Itā€™s my birthday tomorrow and not sure if we will be able to go away yet so any suggestions for a lovely day out near Sheffield? Probably 45 mins drive max as Leo really doesnā€™t like travelling far.

Morning

Not where I expected to be today, but we have a plan.

Phoned Green Flag who are coming to our house to look at the motorhome. Already much more impressed with their service than I was with the shambles that is RAC.

Hopefully they will be able to diagnose whatā€™s wrong and we will be able to get off on our holidayšŸ˜Š

On the sofa, wondering what to do about our planned trip to Cornwall.

Our neighbour has checked over the motorhome and canā€™t find anything wrong. My husband took it for a drive and it was fine.

I just feel really deflated. Was so looking forward to taking Leo away and was so excited when we set off.
Iā€™m ready for a complete chill to be honest as my anxiety has been sky high over the last month or so.

Obviously, there are far more awful things happening to people and itā€™s not a massive deal in the scheme of whatā€™s happening in the World.

Just feel a bit sadā¤ļøand feel guilty for feeling sad!

Anyway, going to sleep on it and decide what to do tomorrow.

Got about half an hour away and the motorhome started losing power and then happened again.

Decided we couldnā€™t risk going any further so drove back home (me a nervous wreck in case we broke down again)

Itā€™s now being looked at by our neighbour who is a mechanic.

Honestly, you couldnā€™t make this s*** upšŸ¤¬
