Phew......I've just spent a couple of hours working on my website, removing unnecessary jargon from the listings. No one has time to read lots of waffle and so I have revamped about 75% of the product listings to give you:

What it is
Size
Materials
Colour (where its not obvious)
How it's finished
Whether it is suitable for a gift? That's really up to you to decide.
Price
Postage - wherever I can, I will always offer FREE postage.

I think that list covers everything you need to know about any of my makes, if not, there is a contact button so you can ask me direct.

I hope you'll agree, it makes sense to point out the basics, rather than bore you with waffle and sales pitch jargon.

Sock Monkey Research - can you help?

Some of you might remember the sock monkeys that I used to make, each with their own name and individual number. They were a big part of my creative life and I'm wondering whether there might be interest in bringing them back in a small collection.

I'm doing a little market research before making any decisions, so I'd love your honest opinions.

Would you consider buying a handmade (UKCA/CE tested) sock monkey as a gift for a child or some one special?

What appeals to you most - a cheeky character, a traditional monkey or one with its own personality?

What price would you realistically expect to pay for a unique, handmade sock monkey?

There's no commitment to buy - I'm simply trying to find out whether there's interest before deciding what to do.

Thank you for helping me explore this little trip down memory lane.

If you still have your monkey (there are 600+ monkeys out there in the world, that I have made and sold), I would love to hear if it is still a treasured possession in its owners life.

15years ago today, I made my first sock monkey Wonky (blue one), I then made Jaffa for my granddaughter. I have a feeling you might be seeing more of these two cheeky monkeys.
I changed my monkey design once I discovered CE testing and the monkeys became a big part of my life as I made 600+ of them over the following years. If you bought a monkey from me, I'd love to see a pic of it nowadays if you still have it. Tell me a bit about how it fitted into your life. Did it sit on a shelf, was it took to bed every night, was it played with a lot, did it bring comfort to its owner. Let's start a 'Sock Monkey Reunion'. I can't wait to see them all.

Hi everyone...... I'm still busy working behind the scenes! Today I'm sorting my patterns and templates. But the good news is that I can see a light at the end of the proverbial tunnel! I'm getting more organised hour by hour.

I'm in the process of changing things a bit, from where I sell, how I store my stock, etc. So I'm sorry that I've been quite recently. But just to show you that I'm still here, let's do a post. Remember this? I used my felting machine lovingly known as 'Thumper' because of the noise it makes.

The sun is shining in South Lincs, hope it is wherever you are. This weekend it's tackle our excess bedding problem - it seems to multiply everytime I look in the cupboard, so I'm having a massive clear out - not sure local charity shops will be happy but I'll spread the load locally!! What are your plans for the weekend?
Pic is of some hanging decorations that I'm making atm. I'm loving them and finding it hard to decide to offer them for sale - persuade me otherwise and Ill add them to my shop (if not, I'll be keeping them 😅)
