📣 Unexpected item in bagging area! 📣

Yep this statement summarises my week 🤣

For those that don’t know I am a Charted Accountant and throughout the year I have to complete Continued Professional Development in order to stay up to date and keep my sword sharp!

I am a very good girl and I stay on top of the requirements but every so often, at at random, my professional body selects people for a review….can you see where this is going….🤔

Yep, that email dropped into my inbox and it was my turn so I’ve been busy gathering all the evidence and completing the forms as required which has taken me away from my crafting for longer than would have liked.

However, I am pleased to say I have as of this afternoon, finally submitted everything I think they need so 🤞 it satisfies requirements.

Time to decompress for this evening and I can’t wait to get back to it tomorrow 🥰

I’ve got a new product idea, perfect for winter and I’ve been desperate to have a play but had to be disciplined and get this paperwork submitted first.

How’s your week been? Let me know in the comments! 👇

21/10/2026

Today has been one of those days that just hasn’t gone to plan. People think running your own business is all sunshine and rainbows but what you don’t see is that one person has to be the chief creator, chief buyer, sales manager, marketing manager, social media planner, admin assistant, accountant, IT support…oh the list is endless.

My desk is swamped with half finished tasks and my brain has been in all of the above modes at some point or another today 🤪

Despite all this, in some weird way I love it! Tomorrow’s a new day and chance to do it all again but maybe in a more organised fashion! 🤣

🎄I don't like to think about it too early but if I don't then I am falling behind the big players! Yep I am talking about the C word.....Christmas 🎄

I have some beautiful items that I will be uploading the website over the coming days and so I will be starting with the gorgeous ceramic Santa Hat Tea Light/Incense holder.

This iconic red hat has star shaped cut outs allowing for a gentle glow of a tea light or the smoke from an incense to curl through the air.

🕊️NEST IN PEACE BELOVED CHARLOTTE🕊️

Posting this one week on and it’s still hard to believe it’s real. Words can’t describe the pain…heartbroken doesn’t even come close 💔

I fully understand this grief I’m feeling is the profound and enduring cost of deep love. As quoted by CS Lewis “The pain I feel now is the happiness I had before. That’s the deal.”

Rescued from a ‘free range’ farm you had 778 days of freedom. You were bald but flourished into a gorgeous hen, living your best life and showing off your bold character.

You brought so much happiness into my life, more than you will ever know. You were treated like the princess you were. You will be greatly missed, TV time won’t be the same and your sisters have been lost without you 😢

Healing from this grief will take time but I carry your spirit with me going forwards…making the most of everyday, ceasing every opportunity, pushing through when times are tough, and always showing up no matter what 💝

Nest In Peace my beautiful Charlotte (aka Charlie). May your soul be at rest and spirit live on. Fly high above that rainbow bridge, until we meet again 🕊️
