🎃👻 Fabulous fun at the library this afternoon! 👻🎃

The children had a spooktacular time making reusable, pumpkin-inspired lanterns! 🎃🏮 They discovered their spooky names, played Would You Rather? and, of course, collected their treats and sweets from our lovely librarians! 🍬🍭

The best part? It was all completely FREE! 🧡🖤

A wonderful afternoon of creativity, laughter and Halloween fun for everyone! Thank you to all the families who came along and made it so special. 🕸️✨

This week at Paint and Pause we painted pumpkins in black, purple or peacock blue. 🖤💜💙

We slowed down, relaxed and patiently waited for the paint to dry before adding our own beautiful designs with gold paint. ✨

With a cup of tea in hand ☕, we took time to pause, unwind and enjoy the simple pleasure of being creative.

Sometimes, it’s not about the finished pumpkin, but the joy of slowing down and enjoying the moment. 🍂💛

🎃👻 On Saturday afternoon, I had the absolute joy of working with 7 fabulous young ladies who got creative making floating ghosts and whimsical witches! 🧙‍♀️✨

Using macramé techniques, along with painting, gluing, beads, wool and fiddly scissor work and they brought their spooky little creations to life with fabulous finishing touches such as the broom and potions jar! There was plenty of creativity, imagination and Halloween magic along the way! 🕸️🖤

A huge well done to all of you for your fantastic creations! 👻🎨

How lovely! 🥰 One of our Pause & Painters shared what she’s been working on. Having discovered a new source of inspiration, she’s been creating the most beautiful hand-embroidered art. 🧵✨ It’s wonderful to see where creativity can lead when we take a little time for ourselves. 💕Dotti Short
Our next session is Tuesday 27th 9.30-10.30am

🧶🍂 Another successful beginner crochet class! 🍂🧶

Such a lovely way to spend an autumn evening with a brilliant bunch of ladies, learning a new skill, sharing lots of laughs and putting the world to rights! 🧡

We were also treated to a delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake made by the lovely Jackie Dickinson 🍋🍰 — the perfect accompaniment to an evening of crochet, cake and good company.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a wonderful evening. Looking forward to the next one! 🧶✨
