Huge thanks to Theresa of for her workshop this morning. It was absolutely fascinating, as always (she’s such a great teacher) and I’m delighted to have grasped the principles of spinning on a drop spindle at least! I will be practising a lot over the weekend.

I was going to do a reel about my day in the shop but I never got further than opening because we were really busy with our Social Stitchers session and lovely customers. Still, it’s the thought that counts and the biscuits were delicious if I say so myself! Come and join is some time!

I just got a delivery of some new colours in Stylecraft’s excellent Recreate DK – a blend of recycled wool and polyester which knits up beautifully and is well priced.
