That's it the Linlithgow Night Market has finished for another month!

Thank you to Team Morrow for organising and running the show.

Thank you to the other stallholders for the company, and keeping us fed for 2 days.

And a big thank you to the 2 customer's who bought the lamps in the pictures both of which have only just been made and this was the first outing for both of these lamps.

It's always nice when customer's appreciate unique handmade items that they purchase from the person who makes them.

Hope to see you at our next outing at the Riverside Museum Christmas Market at the end of November.

Time to rest now before searching for new items to upcycle!

Not sure what to do today, have your plans changed due to the weather?

Why not head to the Linlithgow Night Market it's running from midday today until 6. But it may close abit earlier if the weather gets worse.

Unfortunately you'll not get the candlestick telephone lamp as it went to it's new home yesterday but we still have loads of unique and unusual lamps to lighten up your winter nights.

If you cant make it today why not come and see us at the Riverside Museum Christmas Market at the end of November or the Scottish Arts and Crafts Christmas Fair in Beith at the start of December 🎄 🎩 💡

The Linlithgow Night Market has started and here a re a few of my new pieces,

The Dalmore set, a lamp and clock
A very nice brass candlestick telephone lamp

And the Portable Potentiometer has now had a clock added to it so it's perfect for your desk.

Time for something a bit different, when is the best time for a wh**ky?

Whenever your wh**ky clock shows you its time!

This clock is being sold on Friday at Linlithgow Night Market as part of a set with a very unique lamp, head down and have a look at them for yourselves.

Last night I was stripping down an item to upcycle into a lamp and came across this bit of old newspaper that had been used to pack it out inside during a repair, possibly.

Unfortunately it doesn't have a date on it but you could get

A heavy duty car battery for £11.34.
Wheel balancing 92p

And just look at the price of tyres!!!

If car prices aren't your thing on the back on the back it advertises a table and 4 chairs for £213.60

Do you think I should put it back in the finished lamp, with possibly an updated list with today's prices?

If you want to see the item in question you'll have to head to Linlithgow Night Market this Friday night, and possibly Saturday if it doesn't sell before then.

Unfortunately the Rocket Lamp has been sold and is now on display at a Cala showhomes of Support (the second lamp of mine to be sold by Katie Morrow to Cala).

But if you'd like to see what else I upcycle and make youve not got long to wait, this Friday and Saturday were taking part in the very popular Linlithgow Night Market.

You'll find hot food and drink along with a carefully curated range of arts and crafts. This month's is Halloween Themed so don't be scared of coming in fancy dress!

If you can't wait till then you can always pop into Katie's shop in The Lowport Centre where you'll find a few of my pieces along with her upcycled furniture.

Reasons to get scared, it's only just over a week until our next Market!

It's a Halloween Edition of the Linlithgow Night Market, you'll find us there on both days, so why not head over to Low Port Centre & Linlithgow Lodge in Linlithgow for some Halloween fun with an opportunity to a bit of shopping for the up and coming seasons, while having some great food and drink. 🎩 💡 🧛‍♂️

If you don't already know Susan and her work, take a look at her page and why not take a trip to North Berwick and pay her a visit at her beach hut, along with the other crafters down there. 🎩💡

Don't worry about the weather!

Come along to Scottish Arts & Crafts Fair in Beith, it's all indoors!

You'll find us with another 51 carefully curated craft stalls for your perusal, before heading for some refreshments at the onsite cafe.

Then you can take your time making your purchases before heading home feeling smug with yourself.

Knowing that you've supported artists and makers, that you've got products you'll not find on the high streets and you've bought it from the person who spent time to design and make the product by hand, and it's not mass produced somewhere around the other side of the world!
