The last week has been absolutely brutal 😅😅

Being a working Mam brings sooo many different challenges, doesn’t it?!

My little boy is one year old and probably brings home an illness from nursery every other week...
Just as he starts to improve (pic 3 as evidence), I get wiped out with a temp and tonsillitis which makes parenting 100000x harder!

Anyway, enough of the complaining... I made these gorgeous markers last week and they are now on my Etsy, ready to go to a new home 🏡

I’ve made a few tweaks to my Etsy store!!
My ‘Pick Your Own’ markers are now all under one Etsy listing, making it far easier to fully customise your x-ray marker set 💖🌸

I’ve always used high quality resin for all of my markers, however I feel that my technique and design has improved so so much since I began! The sets in the sale are beautiful nonetheless but I’d love to make room for more exciting designs in the future 🥰

I wish I could go back and tell her what’s to come!

I think I’m maybe in the minority but one of my
FAVOURITE parts of my job is working with our student Radiographers! I love to be a part of teaching the future generation of Rads, but I also learn from them too.

I was the quiet, shy student that needed that little bit more encouragement whilst on placement. My self esteem and confidence was very low, and all it took was some one to one time with some fabulous Radiographers to bring out my full potential and become the person I am today.

I keep seeing soo often on here that students are anxious about starting or returning to placement due to how they’re being treated which is incredibly sad. Whilst it’s true that students on placement really benefit from getting to know the Radiographers and having a proactive attitude, it’s also important for us professionals to also remember that it’s our responsibility to encourage our students in the best way we can and make them feel comfortable and welcome.
I truly believe this is how we create the healthiest working and learning environment 💖🌸
