It’s been a beautiful sunny day today, so I thought I’d treat the boys to a lovely woodland park. Expensive, but it spares me the daily humiliation of walking a dog who becomes a rabid ferret on sight of other canines. And gives the boys lovely off lead time to run around and stretch their legs ……

Decision made - this one is next under the needle. Just backing it with felt. I’m using 505 spray (and a mask) to baste it and will then all over quilt the background before starting on the leaves and pots. These long hangings are 50cm x 150cm
Time to fire up the Quattro 😃😃❤️

I’ve nearly finished the long blue/green hanging (it’s peeping out from the bottom). Trying to decide which to start next ?? I might do another long hanging in red and oranges, then those golden grasses. But don’t hold me to that - I often change my mind!! xx

Hi everyone - I've realised FB removed the Christmas free live stream, as part of their new (and frankly horrible) new rules. Anyway - we can get round that. I kept it and I've just found it again - So here you go - Christmas 2025 ... it was a black and white one ...
What shall we do this year? Nearly time to start planning. Any thoughts anyone? I'm easy 😂😂❤

Investigations and cleaning revealed that this disgraceful collection of fluff was hiding in my machine bits, and undoubtedly led to the impressive stitch up of my bobbin. I tell my students to clean out their machines every bobbin change to avoid this. Clear case of do as I say, not as I do. I’m ashamed 😳😂😂

The last gelli printing book has gone. I’ve only a few Make it Personal Book 1 left and also some Language of Flowers and Make it Personal ook 2.
I’ve only 3 large tins, 2 tins of 15 and 2 tins of metallics of Neocolor 1 now, 5 large pots and 4 small pots of acrylic wax and 5 silk screens. Paints and dyes are running low with many now sold out. Still some stencils and stamp sets available
A few sketchbooks and drawing media too
I want to close the shop by end October, so will be putting anything left into goody bags in a couple of weeks
