If you’re familiar with the brand, you will know that founder and perfumer Aurélien Guichard loves to showcase the beauty of raw materials in a contemporary style. With Metal lavender he plays with contrasts: the floral facets of Provençal lavender with the more metallic nuances of lavendin lovingly cultivated on his terroir in the south of France.
The result is a contemporary, steel like clean lavender, that evokes a crisp white shirt and with eyes closed you can imagine the steam and gleaming steel of the factory distilling this precious raw material.
It’s refreshing to see one of perfumeries iconic raw materials laid bare in this way and the beauty is definitely in the wearing. Busy few days ahead as we prepare for the “Marathon Sniffathon” that is 2026🇮🇹 Milan.
