What a wonderful week teaching 2 seperate classes.
The ladies got stitched up sewing these beautiful fabric baskets and I even put a candle in a cake for a special birthday 😉

3 sessions is all these ladies have had.
From beginner, to not using a sewing machine since school. Their confidence has grown and I am so very proud of ALL of them.

I have a space for anyone who wishes to come and create bunting

ART EXHIBITION and MAKERS MARKET.

After the Christmas MAKERS MARKET was a great success in Narborough.... With over 500 visited in just one day.
So in June they are back at the Old School Rooms in Narborough, as part of a whole weekend of festival events called .
This time Pamela from Cherry Bank Studio as joined together with to host a joint ART EXHIBITION and MAKERS MARKET.
On Saturday 13th June 10-4pm and
Sunday14th June 11-3pm
You will have the opportunity to purchase original local art, local artisan makes or even take part in a free workshop with one of our skilled makers.
The whole event is absolutely FREE with other festival events organised by .

🧵Another fun and wonderful class this morning.

I am so overwhelmed how these four ladies and last weeks ladies have progressed.
Their confidence didn't really need building, they all just needed to believe in themselves.

Want to learn a new skill❓️
Believe you can.... and you will.
Explain it, demonstrate it and the rest follows and do you know what?
No question is silly to ask and it doesn't matter how many times I repeat myself or, how many times someone needs to repeat a task. When you are consistently repeating then the task ahead becomes much easier.

They just keep going from strength to strength.

🧵All sewn up this morning 🧵

Yet another fabulous morning teaching.

Today was all about sheep 🐑 Hares 🐇 and not forgetting the envelope cushion cover with insert.

1️⃣ Complete beginner, well a lovely lady that hadn't sewn for some years.
2️⃣ Lovely ladies that were on their second lesson.

They all done amazing don't you think❓️

The start to my weekend on Friday was a full on day.
It started with a meeting for a collaboration and ended with Butterfly Beacons.

Have you heard of them?
The amazing Emma, that runs the groups is a beautiful soul. 🦋
She brings women together and creates gatherings. Totally funded by events and donations.
The beautiful Kath Kidston bus Emma drives was donated to her to be able to do what she does without a second thought.

I will be on the bus with my sewing machine over the next couple of months helping communities find time out in their busy lives to come together and create.

Do you remember my pen holders that fit on an A5 notebook?
Maybe you purchased one way back in 2020? That was the last time I made them 🤦‍♀️

They were my best sellers back then so I don't know why I didn't make anymore 🤔
It just so happens I have had an order to make 5 so I thought I'd make a few extra ready for a little craft fair in December.
