New in and slightly smug about it — a very good vintage French wooden chopping board has landed in the studio.

Big, beautifully worn, and full of those quiet little marks that only decades in a French kitchen can give. The kind of piece that doesn’t try too hard, but somehow ends up being the star of the whole room.

It works hard as a board, but honestly? It’s even better just leaning around looking handsome on a shelf with some pottery and linen nearby.

Currently available — but not expected to hang around behaving itself for long.

Instead, please get in touch to arrange a visit.

This means we can offer a more relaxed, one-to-one experience when you come to browse our vintage interiors, and make sure we’re properly on hand to help you find the right pieces.

We’re still here and very much open for enquiries, sourcing requests, and visits—just in a more flexible way.

One of those pieces that proves the simplest vintage finds are often the most useful.

This wonderfully weathered zinc bucket has just arrived, complete with all the dents, marks and aged patina that give old pieces their character. Perfect filled with dried flowers, garden cuttings, kindling by the fire, or simply left to do what it does best—look effortlessly charming.

We can easily imagine this one in a country kitchen, garden room, boutique space, or tucked into a cosy corner at home.

How is this kingfisher still here?

It's been perched in the shop for a few weeks now, quietly showing off its brilliant blues and hoping somebody takes the hint.

Original oil on canvas. Signed by the artist. Full of colour and character.

The sort of piece that makes a room feel collected rather than decorated.

A little French charm for your home… and possibly the start of a new plant obsession.

This vintage plant stand, finished with a decorative bird finial, has that beautifully timeworn look we all secretly try to recreate but can only really get from the real thing. Soft patina and just the right amount of “found in an old conservatory and immediately fell in love”.

Perfect for trailing plants, stacked pots, books, candles, or simply standing there looking effortlessly interesting in a corner you’ve been ignoring.
