Today’s reel is a little different and is something I am delighted to share with you all.
Hidden among the olive groves of Puglia, this 17th-century nobleman’s villa stood abandoned for decades. The rooms had been reclaimed by time and the halls once home to wandering goats. Today, after a meticulous restoration that honours original materials, centuries-old craftsmanship and even a 400-year-old fresco, it feels less like a renovation and more like a resurrection.

The result is a testament to the vision, patience, and extraordinary dedication of its owners, Gustavo and Marc, whose commitment has breathed new life into a remarkable piece of history. Thank you for such a generous welcome and a truly gorgeous visit! An unforgettable reminder that the most beautiful places aren’t built twice, they’re lovingly brought back to life.
