Would you like to join our weekday team?

We are looking for new team members who are passionate, energetic and eager to join our award winning village retail and coffee shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enthusiastically deliver outstanding customer service
• Make and serve delicious coffee, tea and other beverages
• Work with drive and commitment as part of a team
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment

REQUIREMENTS

o Positive, friendly, can do attitude
o Willingness to learn new things
o Excellent communication skills
o A strong relationship builder
o Ability to use your own initiative
o Previous shop experience desirable but not essential

Apologies for our social media being a little quiet over the past couple of weeks, but some of the Gallery 119 team have been away on a well earned break exploring Scandinavia.

It doesn’t matter if it’s Denmark, Sweden or Norway antiques are never far from our mind. It’s just a shame we don’t have more room in our suitcases.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone back in Sutton Bonington very soon.

Once again, due the continuously hot weather, we shall be closing at 3pm.

Thanks for your patience and support during these exceptionally hot days. As always it really is appreciated.

You may also see some road closed signs as you enter the village. There are resurfacing works on College Road, so please follow the diversion signs if coming from that direction. You can still get all the way to us from the Park Lane end of the village.

Due to the very high temperatures forecast for today and Thursday, we have taken the decision to close at 3pm.

We will of course be open as usual from 9am serving hot and cold drinks, ice creams and bakes.

Our team members have worked brilliantly all summer in very hot conditions and once again we thank our customers for their support and patience.

Well, once you’ve purchased 10 hot drinks at Gallery 119 you can have a free one of your choice.

All you need to do is pick up a loyalty card next time you are in and start collecting those stamps. One stamp for each hot drink purchased.

You’ll find the cards by the till or ask one of our team members.

What a super week! It’s been really lovely to see so many of you pop by.

We get so many compliments on our coffee that we thought we should tell you a little bit more about it.

At Gallery 119 we are proud to have been working with Outpost Coffee Roasters for over 5 years. They are a small, independent specialty coffee roastery based in Nottingham.

We are delighted to be serving their house espresso blend, Timber Town. With hints of toffee, cashew, milk chocolate and citrus, this Brazil/Mexico/Guatemala blend is a standout, yet traditional style coffee that brings a smile to those who drink it.

Perfect to be enjoyed as an espresso, with hot steamed milk or with cold milk over ice.

If you haven’t already tried it, what are you waiting for!

O P E N A S U S U A L ! !

UPDATE: The road is now fully open. Thank you to everyone that still made their way to us, despite the inconvenience. 😊

Once again there is a road closure in Sutton Bonington from the bottom of Bollards Lane to the bottom of Marle Pit Hill. Unfortunately we were not made aware of this!

You can access on foot from the Main Street end of the village and by car from either Hungary Lane and the Park Lane entrance to Sutton Bonington.

Please ignore the road closed/diversion sign at the Park Lane entrance to the village. You will still be able to drive down to us and have ample room to turn around.
