..has been almost entirely about packaging up pots and planters to send to our lovely customers across the country! Thank you for all your orders. 🤎

We've also had deliveries of new and exciting pots arrive, with the team unloading them through every kind of weather imaginable. Has it been the same where you are? 🌧️🌦️⛈️🌈🌤️

However you pronounce it (and we have a lot of discussion on this in the office), an oak pergola can be a standout feature in a complete garden design.

Train a beautiful plant to grow over your pergola to soften the space and give you a perfectly shaded zone to :
- Invite friends over for dinner and drinks
- Read a book in peace and dappled shade
- Create an outdoor lounge for summer gatherings
- Practice yoga or meditation

We recommend planting a wisteria, climbing rose or jasmine.

- Hardwoods come from slow-growing, broadleaf trees like Oak, Ipe, Balau, and Cumaru. This wood is dense and highly durable
- Tropical hardwoods (such as Balau, Cumaru and Angelim) when sourced responsibly, can be an eco-friendly option that outperforms synthetic decking in durability and lifespan
- Hardwood decking is known for its rich, deep tones ranging from dark browns to reddish hues

- Softwoods come from fast-growing, coniferous trees such as Pine, Cedar, and European Larch. The wood tends to be lighter and easier to work with
- Softwood decking has a lighter, more uniform appearance, often with golden or honey tones

🪵What's been happening at Round Wood this week?

We finally found time to unload and take a look back at our fabulous day at Heathfield Agricultural Show! With the weather on point ☀️and the visitors to our stand delightful (both 2 and 4-legged 🐾), it was a huge success.

Thank you to everyone who came to talk to us and bought from our stand.

A stainless steel horse statue doesn't work in everyone's garden but didn't it look great outside our stand and it's much like dating, if he was perfect for you - you'd just know! (More details here: https://roundwood.com/product/stainless-steel-white-swift-spirit-horse-statue/)

Meanwhile, back at base, the workshop team have been putting a truss together. This will form part of an extension to a customer's property and isn't it going to be a beautiful, natural addition to their home! More photos to come of that job.
