🐾 Some keepsakes really do feel as though they were meant to be…

Abigail contacted me after being recommended by a friend. Her best friend had sadly lost her Mam at the beginning of the year and was also expecting a baby.

Knowing how much her friend, her Mam and her Nana all adored cats, Abigail hoped I could create a very special cat keepsake using clothing belonging to both her Mam and Nana. She had just seen that I was working on my new cat pattern and said it felt like fate. 🥹

This beautiful cat has now been collected and safely gifted, so I can finally share it with you all. Made using a cosy dressing gown and a green jacket with its lovely tartan lining, it holds precious memories of two very loved ladies together in one keepsake—for both Abigail’s best friend and her new baby to treasure. ❤️

Abigail’s lovely reaction when she first saw it was:

“Awwww it is gorgeous!” 😭❤️

It was such an honour to be trusted with something so meaningful, and I’m so pleased this special surprise was loved.

🧸 A little throwback to one of my biggest Memory Bear orders! 🧸

I was looking back through some of my photos and realised I don’t think I ever shared these beauties on my page. 💜

Back in June 2025, Claire trusted me with the very special job of creating eight Regular Jointed Memory Bears from her Mam’s clothing, one for different members of their family.

There was also a bit of a deadline! 🙈 Claire had nieces visiting from Australia and New Zealand who would soon be heading home, and she asked if I could have at least three of the bears ready before they left.

Well… somehow I managed to get all eight finished in time! 😂🧵

Claire later sent me the loveliest message saying how much the bears meant to her family and that she couldn’t wait to have “a bit of Mum back” for herself and her three children. She was also so grateful that two of the bears would be ready to fly across the world with her nieces. 🥹💕

I think this has to be one of my favourite photos from such a large order — eight bears, all made from the same precious clothing, ready to go to their new homes and keep a little piece of someone very special close. 🧸

Orders like this are such a privilege to be trusted with. 💜

🌸 A beautiful new addition coming very soon…

These flat fabric keepsake keyrings are handmade using a loved one’s clothing and can be created with your precious fabric on both sides, or with fabric on the front and a personalised message printed on the reverse.

They can be ordered as a matching addition to a memory bear or another handmade keepsake, or on their own if you only have a small amount of treasured fabric available.

This first sample is a heart, with more shapes to follow.

🌍 Something a little different from me…

My new “The World Is Better With You In It” Globe Pin Badge Keepsake is now available in my Etsy shop, with free postage. 💙

Most of my gifts focus on remembrance, but I was recently asked to create something centred around encouragement, positivity and mental wellbeing. I really enjoyed making it, and if this design proves popular, I would love to add more gifts like it to my collection.

I must also give a special mention to my lovely niece Nev, who had a big input and helped me bring the card design together. Thank you, Nev! 🥰
