Setting a 5.30am alarm on a slowly dawning morning in June is never easy.

But catching the 6.37am train from Plymouth to London for the BKU Awards 2026 makes it completely worth it.

Being nominated as finalists for 'Bathroom Showroom of the Year', as well as the 'Independent Bathroom Retailer of 2026', was a huge moment for our whole team.

It reflects months of hard work, careful design, and helping local homeowners bring their ideas to life. Win or lose, standing alongside the very best independent showrooms in the UK means everything to us.

Sadly for us, this year we were pipped at the post. Still, we feel that being amongst the top nominees and one of the finalists counts a lot towards building our customers' confidence, especially as these awards are voted for from within the bathroom and kitchen industry.
