**Ticket Only Event - Last View Tickets Left**

Have you heard of the The Red Bench Project? A charity created to support those that are finding life too tough, a chance to pause, stop, sit and connect. A chance for others to gently step in and say help is available just by sitting down next to a fellow human.

We will be supporting this very worthy charity at their Prize Bingo event on the 14th November, raising funds and no doubt having a giggle.

We have also donated a mini hamper of calming goodies from our friends at Lytchett Bay Soaps totalling £40.

Chosen to help someone have a calming and relaxing moment at the comfort of their own home, blinds closed, curtains drawn, blissful peace and safety in this very crazy world we find ourselves in. 🙏🏼

Wow! What a day! It was lovely to meet so many of the team that came out to do and support the Brownsea Island Paddle in aid of Lighthouse Poole’s Big Christmas Appeal 2026. Jo for one was aching but paired up with Emma, Head of Development at the who was a machine powering through, and a great motivator getting us to complete the course - those kayaks aren’t the comfiest of rides! But we all did it, without getting too cold, the last of the Indian summer was definetly on our side! Huge thanks to Amber and Charly from who were great leads and knew everything possible to make it a safe journey.

Our customer chose shaped shutters with 76mm hidden tilt louvres, and the results speak for themselves. The hidden tilt design gives a cleaner, more contemporary look, while perfectly complementing the shape of this feature window.

These shutters don't just dress the window, they become a focal point of the room and really bring the whole space together.

Every year, the Big Christmas Appeal helps Lighthouse Poole to give away thousands of free and discounted tickets to those that need it the most including children, families, and other groups from the community who are experiencing hardship and disadvantage.

I am supporting the Brownsea Island Paddle in aid of Lighthouse Poole with The Watersports Academy - Big Christmas Appeal. As one of our customers I wanted to give something back and support their charity event this Saturday (wanna join in too?!) it’s in aid of raising funds to pay for tickets for those that are -
• Families affected by cancer can share an unforgettable night out together.

• Young carers, who give so much of themselves every day, can take a break and simply be children again.

• Neurodivergent individuals can enjoy inclusive, relaxed performances designed with their needs in mind.

• Local children in care are invited to enjoy theatre and entertainment - often for the first time in their lives.

• Older people and their carers can get together, watch a show, and feel less isolated.

• Schools in low income areas can offer a trip to their students, enabling students to engage with and become inspired by performances and activities at Lighthouse.
