Sorry folks, we’ve bagged a last-minute trip to the Lakes, so the gallery will be closed for the rest of the week.

I know it won’t be one of you lovely lot, but people keep kicking our beautiful building 😭😭😭

We’ve got someone coming to fix it but what started as a small hole (probably a harmless accident) has considerably grown in the last few weeks.

As you can imagine it’s quite annoying.

If you see someone being dingbat, tell them to pack it in! Or come and snitch on them to me and I will 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

100 lovely colourful loot bags arrived yesterday and they are lush. The window clings are running very very low!

"It's Hop tu Naa, you turnip!" - The BEST new sticker* in the world!

We have a brilliant new sticker* in our window in St John's thanks to the FREE new project from Pink Seaweed.
[* Actually, they are 'reusable window clings' - so, the sort of thing you can take off and reuse in future years - eco-tastic!]

These window-clings & matching tote bags are completely free, and available for anyone to pick up from Pink Seaweed in Ramsey.
Together they are designed to support and encourage the Manx traditions, making them fun and engaging to the sorts of young people to be found singing at your doorstep on the 31st... hopefully carrying a Hop tu Naa tote bag and meeting a similar window-cling on the door!

Leanne Higgins, of Pink Seaweed, explains the idea perfectly:
"Rather than simply raising awareness of Hop Tu Naa, the project is designed to influence what happens at the door. It will encourage children to sing or perform, encourage adults to expect and reward that participation, and support the continued practice of Hop tu Naa as a living Manx tradition."
