A private customer in Basingstoke recently moved into a 5-year-old home and quickly noticed major issues with their existing flooring. The vinyl in the kitchen and the Amtico in the hallway were bubbling throughout due to not being adhered correctly. Ridges and indiscretions in the subfloor were visible across both areas because the floor hadn’t been latexed or levelled. The hard flooring had been stuck directly onto the concrete, leading to a completely uneven finish.This highlights just how important correct subfloor preparation really is.

Our team carried out a full uplift and professional subfloor preparation to create a level, consistent finish across the entire downstairs. We then installed Invictus Flooring Divine Oak Champagne parquet planks in a classic herringbone pattern – a timeless upgrade that completely transformed the space.
