Just home from a wonderful day at Picnic in the Park (Readhead Park). Such a wholesome day chatting to people, talking about all things mosaic. Heartfelt thanks to all the lovely people who visited my stall and invested in a piece of my art. It’s really appreciated. Huge thanks to the organisers for such a tremendous community event.

All grouted…. ‘Hummingbird’. Went with black grout in the end.
Final clean up and polish tomorrow.

Pondering over grout choice…. made a sample board (I’m usually too impatient to do this, but I’m sure it pays off). This will enable me to choose carefully rather than just wading in and potentially getting it wrong. Tried the GroutR app which makes me lean to darker colours. Black looked best to be honest, but a friend of mine is kindly sending over a sample of a slightly warmer shade by Mapai called Volcano sand. Let’s see how they compare…… 🙏🤔
