WOW !!! Big windows? Not a problem 🤪 All in a days work for us 💪

We’re having a really busy week this week transforming this absolutely stunning Laura Ashley fabric to 3.3m long (they went off the table 🙀 takes skill you know 🤪) double pinch pleated blackout lined curtains with weighted hand sewn hems for our fabulous contract clients at Orton Hall Hotel & Spa in Peterborough. We are refurbishing some of their rooms now and in the near future in stages.

These are for one of their bridal suites which will look absolutely amazing.

Another very very busy day, four ready to be picked up tonight (just finished for the day/night 🥱 ) Four more to go for this contract, we’ve done 9 big romans and 4 pairs of curtains for this one all wanted yesterday. They’re fitting them as quick as we can make them, no pressure 🤣🤣 💤

People don’t realise the work that actually goes in to making just one Roman blind, I know many people in the trade who absolutely will not do them, everything about it from start to finish has to be precise, there is a lot of hand sewing involved to achieve the finished product to such a high standard without any horrible stitch lines going across at each fold like the cheap online ones, that when they’re down you can see the light through every single stitch hole sewn right through 🙀 🤮
This one we’ve just finished is another stunning Harlequin velvet fabric with top quality James Hare embroidered trims to make it just “WOW” ❤️

120 eyelets we’ve put in 4 big pairs of curtains tonight 💪💪💪 (so actually 240 coz we have to do 120 cuts then change the die and 120 presses) And that was after a full days work to get them to this point 🙀 half 7 finish 😴 But they’re now all ready for the designer to pick up tomorrow, then phase two begins which is all Roman blinds in some amazing fabrics ❤️

All this happened in just one working day yesterday 🙀 Think we’re going to be very busy. The suns out and everyone’s on a mish to get their homes looking fabulous ❤️ we will transform all these stunning rolls of fabric in to the most amazing curtains and roman blinds 🥰 Now off on this lovely Saturday morning to measure for some perfect fit blinds in Newcastle, it’s all go go go 😜 Happy Saturday to you all ❤️
