The day ive been dreading, one whole year without u my darling brother stephen 💔

Its after midnight now, another night where i hav woken in disbelief, so i may as well write this to u now.

Forty years of u. Feels so wrong, u shud hav had many more.

Im angry they didnt act fast enough, angry that we all thought you'd come home, but u never did.

I wish more people had known u for the dark sense of humour u had, ur generosity, ur kindness, ur talents, how well educated u were, how u always wanted to help people.

U were a wonderful uncle to my children, in so many ways, they hav a million fond memories of u, im grateful for that.

Im grateful for every moment i had with u, from kids to adults, all the good, bad and everything in between.

U were (wont ever get used to using past tense), literally one of my favourite people in this world, and the day we laid u to rest, a piece of me went with u.

U were my brother and my best friend.

A year has passed, but a lifetime of love still remains.

I love u beyond measure little brother, always 💜🖤💙

This was for the shop, but i i dont seem able to part with it 😅🤣

Still here, still trying, still really good at slapping a smile on my face even though the pain is still very real.

One more week and itll be a year since we lost him, itll be easier then right? 🙄

I kno it wont be but got to tell myself these things so i dont break 💔

Ok folks! Not strictly business related but it kind of is, seeing as my business is my life and my life is about to be turned upside down (again!) Oh also, I've got way more followers on my business socials than my personal one 😂

I am desperately looking for a new place to rent as I need to vacate here in January '27 😭

I am already checking all the lettings sites, and I've spoken to the council etc, but word of mouth is a huge thing in Pembs so I'm really hoping that someone knows someone who might have a place available or coming up?

Must haves are:

2 bedrooms

Own parking for loading/unloading heavy work stuff

Some sort of garden even if it's tiny as I've got kitty cats

I'd prefer Haverfordwest area if I'm being honest, but I will consider anything at this point!

I've got all my own furniture so I need unfurnished please!

I can provide excellent references, I am clean and tidy 😆 quiet, way too old for parties etc! Honestly, I just want somewhere to settle for me, my son and my kitty cats, where I can bake and continue to grow my business 🥰

Also, this is for a single person paying all the bills so affordability is key (I can't find anything suitable for under £850-900 a month so far and that is just not doable!)

The shop will be closed while we are away in Inverness, enjoying a much needed break from our hectic and busy lives.

Big mommas knits will be CLOSED on monday 31st August.

After being open 7 days a week since february, and only having one day and night off to go and see the hollywood vampires over the summer, frankly i dont have it in me to do one more day haha 😅😅

The other 4 days i wasnt in the shop was to go to different areas of the county to do events so literally havent stopped in months!

Thankyou to all the other shops that sell my stock too, thankyou to all my lovely returning and new customers. 🥰🥰🥰

Im looking forward to the 'ber' months as thats when my weird little creative mind blossoms and very much looking forward to lots of adventures with Daisy and Rubyn as we go into out 4th year of home education
