Tonight I’m celebrating the new year with my bestest crafty chum Nat…
She was the first person to encourage me to sell what I make and to set up my page. Before I moved house, she was my postie so was the first person to know when a new anything was going on the needles as she delivered all my wool. Always the first person to see progress photos and to cheer me along… it’s hard to keep her presents secret - this year she’s had a snowman themed gonk!

Now as we welcome in a new year, we get to plan my new craft room from scratch! 🦋 x

My favouritest gifting reaction of the year came from this little jenny. She was finished last Monday - Christmas Eve Eve - and literally gifted as soon as she was wrapped, hence no proper photo shoot for her…

Seasonal Sunday…
As I sat here thinking about all the things I’ve made this year and all the places I’ve sent them to… not allowing for the parcel that went to Mid Wales to then get packed by them and took to Devon!

All I could see was the pattern of…

🎶 5 full sized stockings
🎶 4 cosy cushions
🎶 3 dinky donkeys
🎶 2 festive gonks
🎶 and Dylan from The Magic Roundabout

… as well as a knitted tie for Daddy Bear and a handful of blow flies for panto, a small dog sized stocking, a stocking style pocket pouch for pet treats and the 85 cutlery pouches that have now been renamed silverware sleeping bags 🧶 x

This prototype Piggy cushion is now snuggled up in his new home and will have friends joining the new range next year… 🦋 x

… and that’s a wrap on Christmas 2024!
Back at the very beginning of July, I had a few sofa days with a suspected broken toe. What was there to do but knit - so with my in mind, I set to work on cutlery pouches…

… and I knit and I knit and I knit…

… and a few presents turned into a few orders and a few more and today I finished the final set.

There were Santas, elves, reindeers, red snowmen, custom coloured snowmen and a couple of limited edition gift design ones - and now 85 pouches and more than a couple of button bonanzas I’m done! 🦋 x
