From classic leather to vibrant velvet luxury!

While prepping for the upcoming Christmas markets, we’ve been busy putting the finishing touches on some beautiful bespoke upholstery commissions.

This pair of mid-century dining chairs now sold and gone to their new home!
We love saving pieces from the landfill and giving them new life. This last pair now gone, but we have one single chair left.

They say the bedroom is where you spend a third of your life, so why not make every single corner beautiful?
Swipe to see how this small bedroom chair went from simple to stunning. We gave it a quick, fresh transformation using gorgeous ticking fabric, and we are absolutely in love with the difference!
It just goes to show that you don’t need a massive remodel to change the vibe of a room. Sometimes, all it takes is one small piece, a little creativity, and the right fabric to make a space feel brand new.

It’s always lovely to hear back from delegates who attended our previous workshops and see them take their new skills to the next level!

Yesterday we hosted another wonderful footstool upholstery workshop ! We even had a returning participant joined us to work on her drop-in seat upholstery.
Look at all of these beautiful, finished footstools, I am so proud of everyone’s hard work! During the session, we also chatted about different upholstery techniques and shared tips from past projects.
Thank you so much to everyone who attended! I will be releasing next year’s workshop dates very soon, so stay tuned.

What a weekend! We’ve been so busy. First up, we headed to the in Birmingham. It was incredible meeting so many fellow upholsterers and catching up on the latest industry news.
We loved seeing the live demonstrations of traditional upholstery techniques, trimmings making, and skilled woodworking. We also learned a lot about upholstery sustainability and the new eco-friendly materials being introduced to our world. It was great connecting with suppliers for fabric and sundries, too!
There were so many inspiring discussions around sustainability, and seeing everyone else’s projects was amazing. If you haven’t been to this event yet, we highly recommend it!

We recently refreshed this beautiful vintage lampshade. It was looking a bit tired, so we completely replaced the outer fabric and lining with a clean, plain material that matches the original colors perfectly.

The best part? We carefully cleaned, unglued, and reapplied the original trimmings to keep that precious history intact.
