It’s tulip season and there is nothing I love more than picking some tulips and bringing their spring time joy into the house.
I love these round vases particularly for tulips as when the flowers start to open and stand slightly less upright there’s something about the balance that the vase brings to the display. I also have some very tall red tulips and they look stunning in these round vases. They also look stunning n the tall straight vases particularly when paired with a second vase full of tulips!
Long may the tulips last and to make up for those bulbs the squirrels have eaten I will be planting more bulbs later in the year.

Delighted to share that my pottery is now on display at , where you’ll find a small collection of my work. I am proud to say that all of my pottery carries the Genuine Jersey Mark, your guarantee of local Jersey provenance.
Today, the spring sunshine made the views of St Ouens Bay from the hotel truly unforgettable.
To see more, you can visit my studio in St Lawrence or The Trading Point which is a little treasure trove showcasing talented local artists and creators alongside artisan finds from further afield. Thanks to for organising.

The first glaze firing kiln of the year has produced some lovely pieces for me today. In particular this set of three lidded pots and a straight sided bowl have made my day. What I love about these pieces are that they are functional and beautiful.
For the Christmas markets I filled pieces like these with wax to make them into candles. The large straight sided bowls made stunning candles perfect as a centre piece on a table.
But those pieces weren’t just candles - they were handcrafted ceramic pieces that could either be refilled and used again as a candle or used in your homes in their natural form. What would you do with them?
2026 has started and the pots have started to flow again. Looking forward to making some more beautiful things.

It’s been a little while since I last posted. I have been taking some time to recharge, to walk, to think and to give myself some space to work out what I’d like to do this year.
Having pounded the costal footpaths over the last few weeks I have finally made it back into the shed. It felt strange to be throwing again and it didn’t all go to plan, but the muscle memory has returned and the pots are looking good and I’ve been working on some bespoke pieces for some very lovely patient customers.
However, it’s cold in the shed and everything is taking time to dry. Sometimes I find this frustrating but at the moment it’s giving me time to be very mindful about what I’m doing and I’m enjoying the slower pace.
I am excited for 2026 and what it will bring! And I’m looking for a few challenges this year so if you are looking for something in particular why not get in touch!
