We created this entrance table for a Japanese hotel, with the interior designed by Brewin Design Office Brewin Design Office —led by Robert Cheng, a prominent figure in the contemporary Singaporean design scene.

Brewin Design Office’s approach—which distills the essence of a space from its cultural significance—resonated deeply with me as a Japanese artist, allowing for a seamless and harmonious creative process.
I am sincerely grateful for this opportunity.

このテーブルは、現在のシンガポールを代表するRobert Cheng率いるBrewin Design Officeが内装デザインを手掛けた日本のホテルのエントランステーブルで、私たちが創造しました。

空間デザインを文化的意味から完璧に抽出するBrewin Design Officeのオファーは、日本人のアーティストとして全く違和感無く共鳴し、創作活動ができました。

TKT4B Series.

This is one of the artist's most beloved works, evoking the image of a stone tsukubai (water basin) filled with water.

The grain of the zelkova wood appearing on the black surface resembles ripples on water.

Cutting out the perfect form without compromising the aura of the various materials collected from all over Japan, and then shaping them by hand, is a process that takes many days.

He imbues his works with the solemnity of Japanese nature,
and at the same time, creates forms that will captivate both the present and the future.

We hope that using his works will bring that natural emotion into your space.

This piece has already been sold,
but we highly recommend experiencing his furniture, which is always one-of-a-kind and impossible to reproduce.
