If you've been doing pottery for a while, you'll know things in the studio can get a little… dramatic. 🎭

Some pottery just makes you smile — and Lynn’s wonderful little creatures do exactly that. ❤️

Lynn is one of our original Abbots Glaze Lab members, and we always love seeing the characters that emerge from her kiln. Each one seems to have its own slightly quirky personality — and here are just a few of them 😍

And, of course, we love seeing how Lynn uses Abbots glazes to bring them to life. The soft, mottled colours, little flashes of warmth and all that lovely variation work so beautifully over the texture and hand-modelled details.

Here's how 8 popular Abbots glazes look on Cacao Stoneware Clay RW1302, so you can choose your next glaze with confidence.

All glazes were applied at 3 coats each and fired to Cone 6.
