Our wild weekend plans! Made traditional Easter egg designed from my country Slovenia! I made them by boiling onion leaves , peels, and then placing a leaf on a white egg and tightly wrapping the egg in pantyhose. Then I boiled the eggs for 30 minutes. Happy Easter is everyone !

I was doom scrolling Facebook yesterday and this page came across my suggested pages. I did some nosing around and decided quickly that these are my people 😂
I feel like I might have finally found someone to show this to who would appreciate it.
This is my 5 gallon bucket full of buttons. My grandmother passed and this was found in her basement. I saw it and HAD to have it. We have no clue where it came from, how long it was there, or what their intended purpose was. My uncle (who is also gone) was in the military for years, so my best guess is he brought them home at some point and they never moved again. They’re all military colors, all the same size, and all the same style. The only anomaly is the random blue one you find in it from time to time. I’ve had it for close to 10 years and have absolutely no clue what I’m going to do with it other than show people, but I couldn’t just let it go!
Even if you hate it… just pretend you enjoy it. I sure do

To get me through the working week I like to collect the tin foil from my tuna sandwich that I have everyday for my dinner. As they build up during the week I am always exited to add the Friday tin foil to the collection. It’s a sense of achievement that I’ve reached Friday and then it all starts again on Monday.

I've just arrived at my place in Italy, and found this stuck to a window. I think it's a Ladybird nest. I'm going to poke it a bit, to see if I can get a Ladybird to sit on my finger. No banana for scale, but it's about 1 foot tall. Bye for now.

The soon-to-be-wife advised me yesterday that she had attempted to defrost the freezer by leaving the door open all day, but the ice blocks that had accumulated remained. After some interrogation, I discovered that she hadn’t bothered to turn it off, so, indeed she was providing the house with some much-needed air conditioning - in the UK, in November.
Needless to say, I was delegated the job and took great satisfaction at doing it properly this morning.
(I don’t know if this is the proper way of doing it, but I turned the fridge freezer off and left the door open with some jugs of boiling water inside). It was done and back on in a hour.
34, enjoys being knowledgable in subjects after a “quick Google”, knows far too much about UK motorway technology.

Every year on this day at 8.29pm, the sun shines all the way through our house. Sometimes we build a Henge to celebrate. This year I had to throw a few jenga block together in a hurry because I forgot that it was going to happen.

I am dull enough to notice that these ancient steps have been worn down through hundreds of years of use and then turned over to effectively make new steps.

Apologies for the lack of dullness, I tried to contain my excitement for the photo.

The social media team at Lindahls UK saw my post about their yoghurts last week. They wanted to send me a months supply, along with a notepad and chilly bottle that I can now fill with yoghurt to glug on the go. Genius.

For anyone that thinks being dull doesn’t pay, look at me now.

Our neighbour has a 3 legged cat who spends a lot of time in our garden. However on his journey from their garden to lie in front of our shed he uses the same route across our lawn and has over time made a furrow. I assume one day when he no longer makes the journey we’ll fill the furrow with soil and grass seed or maybe leave it as a memorial? Is it akin to the aerial view of ‘soil marks’ studied in archeology for Roman forts and Inca cities? Forever forged into the landscape?

Female, size 8 shoe (tall). Hates sticky labels you just can’t get off on packaging and purchases.
