On Friday the 6th of November, we’re hosting a 6hr workshop all about spinning for socks with Carson Demers and we’ve got a little room. (He’s great.) The workshop’s at The Resort at Port Ludlow, it starts at 9am, ends at 4 and there’s a nice lunch included. Huge news: Callow Fibers is now a Circulo flagship store! We are thrilled to be carrying full lines of Alpaya, Bossa Nova, Glamour, Bohemia, Veluna, Lucky Feet, Whoopee, Alpaccino, Looma 10/2 and 5/2, and amigurumi cotton. We also have a few Aussie, with more on the way as well as their delightful amigurumi kits. We're sure you'll love these as much a we do!

Last Saturday we had our yarn dying workshop in collaboration with . I thought I'd post some pics of the process and you can check out Spindling Crow's Insta to see them all hanked up and adorbs. This was such an amazing workshop that we will 100% do again!

Calling all spinners and weavers! We now have Schacht Cricket looms, Inkle looms, Ladybug spinning wheels, hand carders. Dreaming Robots Electric Eel Wheels and Lazy Kates. Fabulous new spinning fibers: mohair, cashmere, angora rabbit, baby camel, alpaca, mulberry silk; plus some locally grown + milled roving from a variety of sheep breeds!

Buckle up friends, today is the day to dye yarn!!! Drop in any time between 12 and 5 and get your color on. Bring your own protein based yarn, buy some from Spindling Crow or from us (we've got 8 different styles to choose from). You'll dye here, we'll heat set it, then Jordan will hank up your beauties and you can pick them up at in a few days.

It's First Friday Art Walk and once again we have the marvelous JM Specht here to read to us during crafting time! Come drop in any time from 5-8 to hear some spooky Edgar Allen Poe stories read by this phenomenal local voice actor. Bring a craft if you like, or bring some food (a little bird told me that Sweet Dahlia Baking LLC next door will be open). Be sure to check out all of the other amazing things going on in the Charleston Business District tonight, and in the broader Bremerton area (did you know that Mobility 4 All is running a free shuttle that will take you to all of the Art Walk zones in Bremerton?)!
