Just an unaesthetic post of my view today as I label candles for this week’s orders.

I won’t lie, I’ve had a harder time showing up online lately. I’ve just felt slightly uninspired on what to post. Imposter syndrome? Maybe. I’ve been waiting for that spark of creativity to hit and lately it just seems to be evading me. So, while I wait for my social media spark to return, I’ll just post what I captured on my camera roll today, along with one pretty picture at the end 💁‍♀️

And if you’re a small business owner who’s in the same little funk that I am, maybe just take this as permission to post the not so curated, raw and unaesthetic snapshots of your day. It’s not the serious and social media is a highlight reel anyway, right? 😎

I fully expected this launch to start a little slow since I didn’t hype it up at all and listed everything at 10pm on a Saturday night. But you all showed up and completely made my week. Thank you so much for the love and support! It honestly means so much 🩷

A week late, but just in time to enjoy the extra daylight hours! We’re so excited to share our 2026 Candle Collection with you all!

Even with life being full raising kids, managing a home, and tending to our other business, the work behind these candles never stopped. They’re finally ready to bring light, warmth and calm into your home.

6 new scents along with our tried and true favorites are live on the site! The email subscribers saw them first and have already been snagging them up this morning 😉

Nothing like a little bit of delusional entrepreneurial spirit to start the new year off right 😆

Updating product photos for our page, our Shopify website and creating a deck of pictures for our retailers has been a long standing item on my to do list. So, instead of continuing to procrastinate, I decided to take the leap, buy the camera and the backdrops, block out a few hours and get it done. And honestly… I kind of enjoyed it! I’m really looking forward to exploring new props and backdrops this year!

If you’re a small business owner who’s been putting off a task that seems too big to tackle, let me give you a nudge and tell you to just eat the frog and go for it! You might be surprised that it wasn’t as daunting as it seemed. 😉

It’s crazy when I think of how far we’ve come in this business in just 4 short years.. I started this business alongside my mom, with one baby at my feet and one baby on my hip and now we sit back (with 4 babies in tow) in amazement at what we’ve been able to build. We’ve got a brand that’s spread around the country, coast to coast, north and south and everywhere in between. In coffee shops and boutiques and gift stores and salons. You’ll find our products as far north as Eagle River, Alaska and as far south as St. Pete, Florida. Over 300 active locations 🤯

When they say that small business owners pour their blood, sweat and tears into their business, it’s not a hyperbole. It’s REAL. It’s raw and messy and rarely perfect. But man oh man is it fulfilling. As much as we’ve poured into our business, we’ve been equally poured into by those that love us and our brand. I say it often, but we wouldn’t be here, doing what we love, without your continued support over these years. Whether you’re new to us (hello!) or you’ve been here from the beginning, we thank you for being so good to us. 😘
