Hey there! It’s been a while.
We took a much-needed break, during that time we slowly stepped back into baking; slow, steady, and intentional !
& now… we’re ready. 🥹
We’re learning to balance a new work life, homeschooling, & making time for something we absolutely love to do: bake for you.🫶🏽
Behind the scenes, I’ve been quietly prepping & getting everything organized for a very special bake sale.
✨ We’ll have all our best sellers:
🍪 Cookies
🍥 Cinnamon Rolls
🍫 Brownies
🍞 Sourdough Flights
But this bake sale is a little different.
This week and next week will be your LAST opportunities to order from us before we take our sabbatical.
We’ll be stepping away to honor and celebrate the final feast of the biblical year, the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot), a pilgrimage feast. (Missouri here we come)
And this year, this feast holds a bonus for our family.
I am being blessed with the opportunity to reunite with my youngest daughter.
Eight years ago, I held her as a little baby and made one of the hardest choices of my life, a choice I made out of love: adoption.
I’ve been blessed to maintain an open relationship with her and her parents throughout the years. She knows me. She knows her sisters. She knows the truth.
And this year, we will finally see each other again.
It will be our first time together since the last time I saw her in that hospital room.
There really are no words for what that moment will mean.
By the grace of Yahweh, our transportation and lodging are already taken care of. 🙌🏽
We don’t currently have a vehicle, and while my job covers our bills, there isn’t much left over to make a trip like this possible.
So I’m coming to my community and asking:
If you order from us, you’re not just buying a baked good. You’re helping us make a once in a lifetime reunion a beautiful and memorable one.
You’re becoming a small part of this story.
A story I know Yahweh has been writing long before I could see the next chapter.
If you’ve ever supported Measured with Loave, shared a post, placed an order, prayed for us, or simply cheered us on from the sidelines, thank you. 🤎
And if you feel led to order, these next two weeks are your last chance before our sabbatical.
Come grab something sweet.
Come support our little family.
Come be part of this reunion.
I believe the hand of Almighty Yahweh is all over this.
And I can’t wait to see what He does.🙌🏽✨
More bake sale details is linked in the comments.
Blessing to you.
Xoxo, Myriam.
