Unfortunately, this is now the second time a $150 turquoise ring has been stolen from my store.

To the people who continue to think small businesses can absorb this kind of loss, we cannot. Every piece in my shop is carefully sourced, paid for, and part of how I support my business and family.

Moving forward, I will be increasing security measures throughout the store, including additional cameras and possibly locking jewelry displays. Existing cameras are already located at entrances and registers.

If you choose to steal from my business, I will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. Not to mention if you're bright enough to wear it back to my store or around town and I see it on your finger I'm going to be asking it for it back and calling the police.

To the many honest customers who continue to support and respect my shop thank you!. Your kindness and integrity do not go unnoticed.

I'm humbled to invite you to a special live sale this Saturday, the 23rd at 7:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, as we come together to honor the remarkable life of The Vintage Bunkhouse's former team member and vendor, Gina Christensen, and her loving husband Rob Christensen, whose passing has touched our hearts. In a powerful display of unity, we'll be hosting a live sale where a portion of the proceeds will go directly to Gina and her family, supporting them during this challenging time. Many dear friends have contributed items to make this event a meaningful tribute. Some precious seed packets lovingly crafted by Gina herself will be available for $6 a packet, with every penny going to the family. Your presence would be a testament to the strength of community, and I'm grateful for your compassion, kindness, and generosity. Please join me for this extraordinary evening, and thank you for being part of this moment that celebrates love, hope, and resilience. Set a reminder for Saturday evening. Follow me on Instagram.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Rob Christensen, Gina Christensen's husband, who lost his life after being struck on his e-bike just a few days ago while en route to work. Unfortunately, Rob succumbed to his injuries. Gina, a former employee and vendor of the Vintage Bunkhouse, holds a special place among our community. We consider all past employees part of our extended family. This devastating news has left us deeply affected, and in an effort to support Gina and her family during this difficult time, we are organizing a special live sale on Instagram in tribute to Rob Christensen. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Gina and her family, as Rob was the primary source of income. Further details regarding the live sale, including date and time, will be shared in due course. We kindly request that everyone with Instagram join us and make a purchase to contribute to their family's fund. During the live sale, handmade flower and garden seed packets crafted by Gina will be available. The original price of these packets will be increased by $2, with all additional proceeds going directly to Gina.
